The vivofit 2 comes with two bands. The smaller of the two has numerous oval latches that could be adjusted to fit a small wrist. Depending on size it still would have about a five to six inch face where the information. I.e. Steps, time shows. This part may be too big on top of wrist.

I think it would depend on the age and size of the child. I am an adult female with small wrists. I have the smaller band and there is a good 1/4 to 1/2 inch gap on either side of my wrist. Making it any tighter just hurts the skin under the device. I think the box has specific wrist sizes. I did fall within their recommendations.
