Yes. I got this for my 8 yr old daughter for Christmas. She does not have a smartphone, and I did not want to have to use an app for it. She wears it every day, and it counts her steps. She calls it her "fitbit" lol
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would say yes. I bought one for my daughter who wanted the fitbit like I wear. She loves it. It has the long life battery, so it doesn't have to be charged like the fitbit, and it is definitely cheaper, but with a lot of the same features.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Absolutely this product would be great for a beginner

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm not sure what the features of a fitbit are but this item was easy to set-up and my 12 yr old is now suddenly interested in making sure she completes the goals set up for her based on age, weight and activity levels.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not sure. It could be difficult for them to attach to their wrist. Also, they will always have to use the app to check their results.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I bought it for an 11 year old and she loves it. Keep in mind when registering the product through their app, you need to list the child as 13 years or older.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Maybe the small band but not sure if it would fit a kid for sure or not? Definitely a great substitute for the "Fitbit" name brand. My spouse loves her Garmin band.
