• Depends on where live. If a permit is required where you live , Best Buy will charge extra for the permit and file the paper work. Best buy will then tell you when to make appointment to have inspector take a look.

• If you are located in MA the installation requires a permit and inspection. As I just found out the hard way, the "licensed plumber" who came to do my gas range install had not pulled a permit and said that he doesn't need to. That company is XPOLogistics. I am having my own plumber take care of it all legally, and of course, at my additional expense.
