Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The GE answer is very misleading. It neglects to mention that the doorway opening is significantly narrower than the interior. My 11-1/8" plate does not fit through the doorway without tipping it at an angle. Obviously, that won't work for any wet meals. (I'll be returning my microwave to the store, unfortunately.) I don't quite recall the width of the doorway - I believe it was 10", but I'm not certain.
