Hi there, and thanks for reaching out with this great question! Making sure your microwave has enough air clearance is important, so we certainly understand your concern. The hanging kit (JXA019K is compatible with this model, and it may also be listed under a part number of WX4-A019) is designed to allow for air clearance; as long as you follow the installation instructions included with the kit, there should be no issue. We strongly recommend installing in a 12” deep cabinet, and you shouldn’t install directly against a side wall or cabinet. 2” of air clearance should remain on each side of the microwave after installation, as well as at least 2” on the bottom. No extra air clearance is required in the rear beyond what is needed for the included spacer/rear brackets.
