“What is the width and height of the door opening of this microwave? A couple commenters mentioned that the door opening is very narrow and you have to tilt dinner plates to put them in. My plates are 10.75", would they fit through the door?”

Hello - this is Nancy at GE Appliances and we are happy to help you. This is a very nice microwave. The cavity is 12" wide x 8-3/16" high x 12" deep. The door opening is slightly smaller than 12" wide because of the indention in the side wall, but your 10.75" plates should fit without having to be tilted to be placed in the microwave.
