While there is no direct way to turn the clock off, we found that if we trip the bresker (old house) the display will read pF for “power failure” when we turn the power back on. If we just don’t set the clock, but continue to use the oven normally, the display remains blank. Perhaps this is just our oven, but we like not having the bright light from the display on all the time.
