“I've had a microwave for approx. 4 to 5 yrs. The paint on the interior, under the glass plate has begun to chip or peel and rust has formed. Is this a safety or health hazard for me. Will your product do the same. And how do I avoid this problem”

Hi William - Thanks for considering GE! With proper use and care, you should not expect the interior coating to peel on your new GE microwave. No lead or other toxic materials are added to the cavity coating material used in our microwave ovens.
