Hi maomao, thanks for reaching out! This model is actually meant to only be installed on the countertop. We would not recommend attempting to build this unit into surrounding cabinetry. We have not tested or approved this unit for that style of installation. The recommended clearances for this unit are as follows: 3 inches on each side, 3 inches on the top, and 1 inch in the rear.
