“So far I love this oven! When I bought new glass baking dishes for it I also purchased a silicone mat that is supposed to sit on the glass turntable and protect it. I am thinking it should come out when we air fry. What about convection? Thanks!”

Hey there! We're excited to hear you're loving your new oven! You are correct in thinking the silicone mats come out when you are air frying and using convection. Although they may be approved for use at higher temperatures, usually the temperature limit is 350F - 450F. The cooking surface could get hotter than this. They also keep radiant/halogen surface burners from heating/cycling properly.
