There's a paper manual came with the microwave. It runs microwave function if you don't select other functions directly, and should be always doing convection mode.

I'm not sure about the manual but you have to select convection of you want to use that feature. Before using it you'll want to make sure you remove the tray and turn table as they aren't made for the heat of an oven.
