Hi - Thank you for reaching out to us. Most microwave cooking directions list the cooking time as a span like 6-8 minutes. We always recommend heating for the shortest time and then add time as needed to achieve the desired results. typically yea, it means the cooking time will have to be longer to compensate for the less power it gets during cook time
