Hi wilfa42 - Model JES1145SHSS is designed for use on a counter. This model is not compatible with a trim kit. GE Profile™ 1.1 Cu. Ft. Countertop Microwave Oven PEM31SFSS is compatible with GE® Optional 27" Built-In Trim Kit JX827SFSS and GE® Optional 30" Built-In Trim Kit JX830SFSS.
