• use your knuckle to press the OPEN button. Should be ok to put some of that gripper stuff under it. good luck!

• Hi Bren - Thanks for reaching out to us regarding your new microwave. We are sorry to hear of the difficulty. It is best to open the door by pressing the center of door latch release. When pressing in areas off center and further from center, the door latch is more difficult to operate. You can place on a non-skid pad, if necessary. Keep in touch! Sue
