• I like the beeper, so I don't know if you can disable it.

• Hi Paula- The "beeps" or sound cannot be disabled. We suggest our GE® 2.0 Cu. Ft. Capacity Countertop Microwave Oven JES2051SNSS with Beeper Volume option. Simply press Beeper Volume and choose 0–3 for mute to loud. Thanks for considering GE! SUEatGEA
