“We have a new JES1145SHSS oven and just tried using the "weight defrost" feature but after following the super simplistic instructions the oven will not start. It will start with any weight with 10 lbs or more. Works great with timed defrost. Any ideas?”

• You have to enter the weight in ounces not pounds.

• Hi GEowner- Thanks for your purchase! Weight Defrost allows you to enter a weight from 4 to 99 ounces. See page 11 of the Owner's Manual for reference. Keep in touch! SUE@GEA
