What is your cabinet depth? The depth of your cabinet is an important detail. This unit is 15.625" deep and needs an additional 1" clearance in the rear. GE also recommends placing the unit 3" back

I don't see why not as long as there is an electrical outlet nearby to plug it into. It is 20 inches long and is 12 inches high on the outside.

Hi CLisle- This is Sue at GE Appliances. Thanks for viewing! The approximate dimensions are 12"Height x 20 5/16"Width x 15 5/8"Depth. Microwaves need adequate air clearance on each side, the rear and the top to function properly. This allows good circulation for the intake and discharge air vents. We recommend 3" of clearance on both sides and the top and 1" clearance in the rear. The front edge of the microwave (measured at door) should sit at least 3" or more back on the counter or shelf to avoid accidental tipping. This unit must have air clearances approximately 3 inches on both sides, 3 inches at the top and 1" in the rear.
