There is no ENERGY STAR label for residential ovens, ranges, or microwave ovens at this time. However, there are ENERGY STAR labeled commercial ovens. Over 60 product categories have an ENERGY STAR label. Review the list of ENERGY STAR specifications in development. Earning the ENERGY STAR certification means that a product meets strict energy efficiency guidelines set by the US Environmental Protection Agency and the US Department of Energy. While we are always making great strides in developing new, more efficient appliances and all of our appliances are designed with energy efficiency in mind, this microwave does not have this certification.
