“Is the control panel suppose to be lighted? The Owner's Manual/Troubleshooting Tips, on page 14, states that it does. My Model #JES1145 control panel does not.”

Hello Tom - Thank you for your question; we are happy to help! We are sorry to say this model is not equipped with a backlit control panel. The control panel is not illuminated or backlit.
