“Our sensor convection microwave built-in oven, model PEB1590SM2SS, needs to be replaced. It is over a GE Profile built-in wall oven. Can you recommend a model to replace it since our model is no longer manufactured. Can we use the same trim kit?”

Hi Lizard- We certainly appreciate your loyalty! The comparable model is our GE Profile™ Series 1.5 Cu. Ft. Countertop Convection/Microwave Oven PEB9159SJSS. It is compatible with Microwave Optional 27" Built-In Trim Kit JX9152SJSS and Microwave Optional 30" Built-In Trim Kit JX9153SJSS. Microwave Trim Kits are not interchangeable. A trim kit consists of the trim frame, as well as an upper, lower, and rear duct that attaches to and encases the microwave inside the cabinet cut-out. It is important to only use the trim kit designed for that model.
