• Interesting! My experiences have been very different. In fact I generally add 30 seconds to the time after the beverage alert timer goes off.

• The microwave will automatically be set to heat an 8 ounce beverage. The microwave will start immediately. Drinks heated with the Beverage feature may be very hot; be sure to remove the container with care. -Don@GEAppliances
