“I have a model #JVM3160DF3BB and the door glass shattered while cooking last night. would like to purchase a new one but use the same mounting brackets. will this model work it does not have the 3 in it. And could I use the stainless one?”

• While the JVM3160DFBB is the same in terms of capacity and features, it is possible the mounting hardware and/or bracket have changed. We always recommend using the mounting bracket and hardware that will be packaged with the new model to ensure safe and reliable operation and installation.

• GE changes mounting brackets from one to another for no rhyme or reason. If it physically fits,go for it. At the most you will have some reconfiguring to do.
