“In the installation video it says it needs to be 30" above the stove, that puts the bottom of the microwave at about 69" this seems way to hi? I believe the space between the 2 appliances is usually about 19"?”

Thank you for asking this great question! The 30” refers to the distance between the top of the microwave to the surface of the cooktop. In other words, there should be 30” between the bottom of your cabinet and the cooktop. For more information, please refer to page 8 of your microwave’s “Installation Instructions”.
