On low speed the vent fan has a fairly low noise level. It is much noisier when used on the high speed. I have found the low speed to be sufficient for removing steam, etc. when using the stove top.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It is really quiet
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Can't give you a decibel level, but it is slightly noisy; typical for any microwave vent fan I believe.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Just tested my Midea OTR and the high speed is 71db. Very annoying and makes you have to crank up the volume on anything to hear it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No to much noise
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The noise level being on a scale from 1 to 10, 10 being the loudest, I would say from my opinion, I give it a 5.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.not bad at all
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello - this is Nancy at GE Appliances and I am happy to help you. You will be able to hear the vent fan for this microwave hood if the fan is running. Most over-the-range microwaves are not tested and rated for decibel or sone rating. You may want to listen to the vent sound in the store if there is one on display. I hope this helps! Thanks for checking with us!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There are three speeds on the vent fan, and the lower the speed, the lower the noise. If you have a lot of smoke you will need the highest speed, but I usually keep it on low. At this setting it is not to loud and easy to still talk and hear when running.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There are two options- high & low. High is not loud in my opinion. The sound isn't shrieking or rumbling. It's smooth.
