Yes this product will fit the space of your old microwave, providing the measurements are the same. We had a GE microwave for 10 yrs and did not have one problem with the product and hope to get the same performance.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.YES, THE OVER THE RANGE MICROWAVE SHOULD FIT OVER THE STOVE. WE HAD TO DRILL 3 OTHER HOLES 2 INCHES IN FRONT OF ORIGINAL HOLES FOR THE SCREWS TO SECURE THE MICROWAVE.

Model JVM3160DFBB (29 7/8"W x 16 1/2"H x 15 1/4"D) can be installed in the same cabinet as JVM190K002 (30"W x 15 1/2"H x 14 1/4"D). Actually, all GE 30" over-the-range microwaves are approximately the same width, and are designed to fit into a 30" wide cabinet opening.
