“I have GE JVM3160DF2WW. I was previously told that JVM3160DFWW was the updated version so that is what I ordered. However, the box says it is model JVM3160DFWW, but the model number listed on the microwave itself is JVM3160DF8WW. Are they the same?”

They are the same model, but with slight changes only in the mounting bar on the back wall and a missing hole for middle, front supporting screw.
