- Answer Well I think it depends on how hot you want your drink. I put the cup of water for my tea for two minutes. You can lower to low med and high but it just as easy it put you cook time in.

QuestionOrdered a replacement GE Profile over the range microwave. Once installed, the door would not open. There is a wall there. I need a zero clearance door. I've had 2 GE Profile microwaves there with no problems. What Profile will work there?

- Answer It may need to be unplugged for a minute to 30 minutes for the pc in it to reset.

- Answer You might try unplugging it for a minute and replugging it in to reset it. Sometimes it take the pc init 30 minutes to reset to.

- Answer From my researching, I noted that they all have the same measurements. Microwaves must have a standard measurement for an overhead range.

- Answer Not included with the microwave, but the instructions and materials do have these kits described and you can order or buy them. I reused the ones I had from my old microwave, they are not load bearing and don't actually do anything besides fill in the extra space. I took mine down and cleaned them while doing the install, then put them right back in.

- Answer I had a GE microwave that was about as old as yours. I also had the same problem -- what replaces it. I simply googled "what is the replacement model for model number xxxxxxxxxxxxx and the one that came up was the one I bought. I suggest thought that you do check the measurements of your current model against the measurements of the new model just to be sure as I did.

QuestionHi I purchased a ge microwave that’s very loud I have attached pictures. It’s loud when in use or when turning the fan on. I looked up on some you have to adjust motor? My microwave recirculate in house it does not vent out. Please check photos.

- Answer The GE microwave is louder then the one it replaced especially with the fan on. Fortunately, I have a down draft range and do not need to use the exhaust fan. I doubt you can adjust the motor but I would call GE to find out.
