- Answer Hi Corey - Models JVM3160RF2SS and JVM3160RFSS are the same. When the model is manufactured, the extra number (2) is placed on the appliance rating plate and product registration card. This number is used to identify manufacturing specific data when the appliance is made. Should service or parts be needed, this is used as an identifier for the specific appliance. - Answer Just installed new LG microwave over my range. The keypad DOES NOT light up. No backlighting making it impossible to use in dark kitchen. HECKY DERN!

QuestionCan barely see anything through the door of the microwave. I thought it might be a film or cover, but the only inside plastic is stuck on and doesn’t look like it’s supposed to be peeled off. Is this how it’s supposed to be?

- Answer You are supposed to peal it off. It is just there to protect from scratches during transit.

Therefore, any of our 30" over-the-range models will work as a replacement for an existing 30" over-the-range model. Each microwave comes with the mounting hardware (mounting bracket, screws, exhaust adapter), top and rear templates, and installation instructions needed to make installation a simple process. This makes choosing a replacement microwave easy. NOTE: When replacing an over-the-range microwave, the mounting bracket included with the new microwave should be used since the mounting bracket is specific to each model. - Answer It can be vented to outside through the top or back of the microwave. It can also be configured to circulate the vent out the front. The instructions show how to set it up for either way.

Over-the-range models should be on a dedicated circuit. Require a 120 volt individual, properly grounded branch circuit with a 3 prong grounding type receptacle, protected by a 15 or 20 amp circuit breaker or time-delay fuse.
