A:AnswerHi DEBSIK - We are sorry to hear your microwave is not heating and glad to offer assistance. If the microwave runs but is not heating, it could be one of many components. Make sure the “Timer” function was not inadvertently used. Check to ensure the door is closed firmly. Close it firmly, but do not slam. This confirms the engagement of the door's safety mechanisms. Reset the electronics by unplugging or turning off power at the circuit breaker for 30 seconds or so. If the above suggestions do not solve the problem and the microwave still won't heat, we recommend contacting service. If you would like to schedule a service appointment, please contact GE Appliance Service at 1-800-432-2737 or schedule a service appointment online: https://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm?ICID=GEARsupportflyout-service - We hope this is helpful. A:AnswerHI LilB- We recommend to clean the exterior of your microwave with mild, non-abrasive soaps or detergents applied with a sponge or soft cloth. You can use Cerama Bryte Appliance Cleaner, part number WX10X392 on the door ((both interior and exterior). Wipe the control panel with a soft, damp cloth and dry immediately. Do not spray any solution directly onto the controls. A:AnswerI guess im not sure how to answer your question. Is it vented through your motor home wall? Then if so you should be fine. I had to pull the blower motor out and turn it around because I dont have a vent that leads to the outside of my house. Hope this helps.
A:AnswerHi MJA- The over-the-range microwave ovens are designed for adaptation to the following three types of ventilation: *Outside exhaust (horizontal), *Outside exhaust (vertical), *Recirculating (non-vented). If the model is converted to recirculating and not vented to the outside, the air will be recirculated through a disposable charcoal filter JX81L (included) that helps remove smoke and odors. The vent is located above the door. We suggest to view an illustration on page 12 of the Installation Instructions at the following link: http://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-40675-3.PDF - We certainly appreciate your loyalty and glad to have you in the GE Appliances Family.
