“Is this capable of being hard wired? Plug was not raised and new cabinets have already been installed. Husband is able to do the job not expecting techs to rewire, just want to know if appliance able to be hard wired ? Thank you.”

Hi Luci- Thanks for considering GE! Microwave cannot be hard wired. The over-the-range microwaves are equipped with a 40" power cord (including the plug and base of cord). The power cord comes out of the top of the unit on the right side (facing the front of the microwave).
