If you are replacing a 36" over-the-range microwave, many current 30" over-the-range microwaves offer an optional 36" filler kit to allow it to be installed in a 36" cut-out opening. We suggest GE® 1.9 Cu. Ft. Over-the-Range Sensor Microwave Oven JVM7195SKSS and optional Side Filler Panel Kit JX36DSS. Unless you want to redial and cut cabinets, Best to stick to GE if that is what you had. Also making sure that the Heat has a escape port keeps the regulator from overheating and failing. GE is a great product. Make sure you get reheat, this function reheats food without drying it out you can even reheat bread. Melt is a awesome option as well. It perfectly melts Chocolate , butter as well as marshmallows. I actually purchased this one and I really like it. GE - 1.7 Cu. Ft. Over-the-Range Microwave - Black stainless steel Good luck
