• You can enter say 3-0 and push start for 30 seconds but there is no one button for less than 1-minute.

• Hi Judy - Thanks for considering GE® 1.7 Cu. Ft. Over-the-Range Sensor Microwave Oven JVM6175SKSS! Yes, "Cook Time" option allows you to microwave for any time up to 99 minutes and 99 seconds. Also, "Add 30 Sec" option can be used two ways. It will add 30 seconds to the time counting down each time the pad is pressed or it can be used as a quick way to set 30 seconds of cooking time.
