• Hi Miniaussiemom- Over- the- range microwave ovens must be installed 66" from the floor to the bottom of the cabinet that the microwave attaches to. This can also be measured as 30" from the cooktop to the bottom of the cabinet it attaches to. This will allow adequate space between the cooktop and bottom of microwave.
