- Answer Hi 1952- Yes! This model has "Add 30 Sec" option. You can use this feature two ways: It will add 30 seconds to the time counting down each time the pad is pressed. It can be used as a quick way to set 30 seconds of cooking time. Thanks for choosing GE. Enjoy! Sue

- Answer The only thing that actually 'vents' air from a microwave is the Vent Fan. That fan must be connected to an exhaust outlet and it is turned either On or Off from the front control panel. But, Yes, you can definitely cook in the microwave without turning the vent fan on.

Questionpurchased GE ctc micro to replace very similar GE model. However once it was installed by Geek Squad technician discovered it was not a "zero clearance door" model. Tech said GE made one. Store said no. What should I order?

QuestionWe are looking to replace our GE over the range microwave (JVM1750DM1WW). I have been looking at the current GE models. I do not see any with the auto night lite feature like our current unit has. Is the auto night lite no longer offered.

- Answer Yes, vents to either top or back (does require flipping the vent fan if you need it to vent out the back as the standard configuration it top venting).

- Answer I'd say, both. The key pad definitely black. The door panel has a see through screen-that is black & a dark grey (I.e., blackish, but a bit lighter than the screen) appearance bordering this window. I hope this helps.

- Answer Hi Miniaussiemom- Over- the- range microwave ovens must be installed 66" from the floor to the bottom of the cabinet that the microwave attaches to. This can also be measured as 30" from the cooktop to the bottom of the cabinet it attaches to. This will allow adequate space between the cooktop and bottom of microwave. The minimum upper cabinet depth requirement is 12" and the maximum cabinet depth is 13". Also, in order to install under a 15" deep cabinet, JX15BUMPBB Bump Out Kit is required. The 15" Cabinetry Bump Out Kit is a wall bracket that extends the unit forward by 3". It should be used for any cabinet (up to 15") that are deeper than specified.
