We currently do not provide exact materials used in our appliances, but we did want to assure you that the reservoir has been tested for its effectiveness and safety. In addition to our own testing, Underwriters Laboratories (UL) performs testing on our products for the UL seal of approval. -Kacie@GEAppliances
