“Does the fan speed setting need to be on auto for the unit to shut off when hitting desired temp? Or as long as it's in eco mode both fan and compressor will shut off when hitting temp regardless of other settings?”

Yes when it reaches the input temp. It will shut off on its own
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello. Thanks for reaching out! When ECO Mode is on the fan will cycle on and off with the compressor. This may result in wider variations of room temperature and humidity. The fan may continue to run for a short time or may pulse intermittently after the compressor cycles off to sample the room air. When Auto Fan Mode is on, if the room needs more cooling, the fan speed will automatically increase. If the room needs less cooling, the fan speed will automatically decrease.
