Hi LiveFreeNH - Thanks for considering GE Model AHP05LZ! CEER is 11.0. CEER (Combined Energy Efficiency Ratio) is the new standard by which Window Air Conditioners are rated by the DOE (Department of Energy), as of June 2014. It takes in account the energy used while the air conditioner is running, as well as the standby power used when the unit is not running but is powered on. Click on the photo to view the yellow Energy Label with CEER. Also, we suggest viewing the following link for more details- AIR CONDITIONER EER, CEER, AND SEER RATING: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=19151 - We hope this is helpful. Keep in touch at GEAppliances.com. Stay cool! Sue
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It has an EER rating of 11. If you look at the images the yellow label is shown there. This unit does have an Econo mode where the compressor and fan shut off when the desired room temp is reached.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.According to the yellow tag inside it says $45 a year. However I had it plugged in 2 to 3 weeks set on eco mode and auto fan to try to help keep our upstairs a little cooler. I got my electric bill and it was about $100 more than usual. So the insert is not accurate. It does NOT have auto shut off so the fan always runs. I wish I would have gone with a different unit from another retailer I was also looking at.
