Hi - Thanks for choosing GE Model AHP05LZ! Yes, once set, the display shows the room temperature. The displays shows the Set temperature while setting the temperature in Cool or Energy Saver modes. Here's the link to the Use and Care Manual for reference: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-5000461.pdf - If you have any additional questions, don’t hesitate to ask. We are also happy to help at GEAppliances.com! Sue
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You seem to mean the number displayed "in lights" at the top of the control panel when the A/C is running, with a degree symbol and then "F" showing just to the right of that number. Yes, that would be the temperature in the room, measured in degrees Fahrenheit.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The number is both how hot the room is and it also changes to show what temperature you are programming it to when you push the plus or minus buttons. Then it reverts back to the temperature of the room.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.
