It may have used all the freedom type of refrigerant. There is just so many things that it could be though so I don't have enough information to go by. Mine did the same thing. It might have gotten Frozen so you might want to try unfreezing it but it sounds like you've already done that so other than it running out of the refrigerant that's the only thing I can think of
