• Hi JC - Thanks for viewing GE Model GTE17DTNRBB! An Optional IM4D icemaker can be installed and sold separately at Bestbuy. Also, this refrigerator is frost-free so you will not need to manually defrost the freezer. Keep in touch at GEAppliances.com. Sue
