We truly appreciate your interest in choosing a GE top-freezer refrigerator for your home and are happy to offer you guidance in a model that will perform in your garage! Standard refrigerators, such as this model, should not be installed in a location where the ambient temperature will go below 55°F or above 110°F, because it will not be able to maintain proper temperatures. We do offer multiple similar garage-ready models, such as the GTS19KGNRWW, that have been designed for use in a garage environment and are tested to perform in ambient temperatures from 38°F to 110°F. This gives you further flexibility on refrigerator location and makes it a great option for protecting your foods, even in more extreme climates! Q: QuestionI have noticed that the freezer door pops open when the refrigerator door is closed. Please advise on how to remedy door seal design flaw. Please note the refrigerator is leveled.

During the limited one-year warranty, GE Appliances will also provide, free of charge, all labor and related service to replace the defective part.
