If your garage goes under 40 f it will not cool properly.

We're sorry that this unit cannot be installed in a garage but the store representative did not tell you about this. We see how this can be frustrating. Since this unit does not have a dual temperature control, it cannot be installed where the temperature will go below 55°F (12.7°C) or above 110°F (43.3°C) because it will perform properly.
