Hello there, Thanks so much for reaching out. We're happy to help! A standard counter is 25 inches deep and the depth of this fridge is 34-1/2". To open the fridge to 90 degrees a width of 35-3/8" is needed. Since the refrigerator will stick out further than the cabinet and counting for the minimum of 1/8" clearance on each side, you should have no issues opening the door.
