Hi there - Thanks so much for buying a GE microwave for your home! We can imagine how aggravating it would be to hear beeping in the middle of the night, and we certainly want to apologize for this inconvenience. We suggest you reset the internal electronics by disconnecting power, waiting 30 seconds, and then restoring power. If the the beeping persists, please take advantage of the warranty and call GE Service at 1-800-432-2737. We hope this helps! - Sharon@GEA
