Hi! Thanks for asking. Starting in 2015, the Delicates cycle has an unique "Tri-pulse", extra gentle agitation which includes periods of soak to provide special care to delicate fabrics. The spin is normal speed; however, it should not damage delicate fabrics. Hope this helps! Best wishes. -Michael@GEA

I haven’t noticed the delicate cycle stopping or pausing, but I have noticed that cycle doesn’t spin water out very well which makes getting clothes dry a problem. My solution has been to use the casual cycle instead of delicate.
