“Is it possible to disable the lights in the refrigerator and/or freezer so they don't go on when the door is opened?”

Hi ProfJonathan - The refrigerator is not equipped with Sabbath mode. On select models with Sabbath mode feature you can activate Sabbath Mode to turn off interior lights, temperature control, and advanced features. We suggest our GE® ENERGY STAR® 18.6 Cu. Ft.
