• Hi Susan- Thanks for choosing our GE Model GDE21ESKSS! Yes, we do suggest to allow 24 hours for temperatures to stabilize to the preset recommended settings. This model displays Set temperatures only, not actual temperatures, so you will not see a change in the display throughout the day. Keep in touch! SUEatGEA
