• XWFE WATER FILTER CARTRIDGE IN A SIDE BY SIDE. THERE IS A REPLACEMENT INDICATOR LIGHT FOR THE WATER FILTER CARTRIDGEON THE DISPENSER, A RED LIGHT WILL START BLINKING TO TELL YOU THAT YOU NEED TO REPLACE THE FILTER SOON. FOR MODELS THAT DON'T HAVE THE INDICATOR LIGHT THE FILTER CARTRIDGE SHOULD BE REPLACED EVERY SIX MONTHS, OR EARLIER IF THEVFLOW OF WATER TO THE DISPENSER OR ICEMAKER DECREASES.

• The filter should last approximately six months, depending on use. The filter size and model is in the booklet that came with the unit. You can order the filter directly from GE or Best Buy (online).
