Hi Grandma7 - Our refrigerators continue to be manufactured with as quiet an operation as possible. We do not rate the sound level of our refrigerators or freezers, which means we are unable to provide a decibel level while they are running. The type of installation (built-in or freestanding), floor type (wood, tile) and room acoustics can all affect the normal operating sounds that you may hear. You should be pleased with your choice.
