Hi Frosty, Thank you for reaching out to us. We'd be more than happy to help with your refrigerator. It is completely normal for the bottom freezer to show a rise in temperature, even when it is set to a lower one. This may happen if hot food is placed into the refrigerator/freezer, the door has been opened for too long, or if the defrost cycle is in process. We recommend waiting 24 hours for the system to stabilize, and reflect the appropriate temperature setting. This information can be found in the owner's manual on page 41 or at this link: https://files.bbystatic.com/pJKxw4QINTD019VIVNk1dQ%3D%3D/c53c84ee-afda-476c-a7ba-cc16b5f90547.pdf If these troubleshooting tips don't work, please consider scheduling service. You can do this by calling GE Service at 1-800-432-2737 Hope this helps! -SylviaGEA
